Yes. Confidentiality and Informed Consent are the cornerstones of therapy. In some situations as required by law, or where there is an identified risk of harm to you or someone else, psychologists have mandatory reporting obligations. The Code of Conduct articulated by the New Zealand Psychologists Board and the guidelines provided by the Privacy Act help psychologists balance clients confidentiality while ensuring the responsibility to ensure clients safety. At KEA Psychology, we work hard to maintain this balance; and as far as possible, collaboratively take necessary steps in such situations.

We accept Cash, EFTPOS or bank transfers. We are also happy to provide required documentation for insurance or Work and Income or Victim Support. However, in some instances there may be a co-pay amount involved which will be negotiated at the time of the first session.
