Therapy for adults

Therapy for adults
and young adults

We live in a complex world with many demands and expectations on us that affect our emotional and psychological wellbeing. We face some tough situations in life – losing a job, ending a relationship or losing a close family member.  Sometimes it is about transitioning into parenthood, being a new mother or father, struggling with postnatal blues or sadly, losing a child.
Yet there is also a promise of creativity, satisfaction and growth in our lives. Individual therapy can help navigate our emotional blocks so we can experience contentment and satisfaction.

Therapy for children,
adolescents and teenagers

Our little ones also have big problems in their young minds- pressures of education, peer conflict, bullying or unfair and undeserved experiences of trauma, hurt and loss. Often psychological/emotional support can be helpful during these tough times.

Children experience distress that gets communicated either in their behaviour (aggression, disruptiveness, attention struggles) or their emotions (anger, mood and anxiety). Yet behind every difficult behaviour is an uncommunicated or unsatisfied need.

Individual therapy can help give expression to the unsaid emotions and needs of children in insightful ways so they can continue to be curious, creative and playful.
