Anisha is originally from the town of Pune in India, and immigrated to New Zealand in 2007.
Anisha enjoys working with children, adolescents, adults, couples and families from varied ethnic backgrounds and from different walks of life. She has worked as a family therapist with people who have experienced ongoing trauma and had involvement with Oranga Tamariki (previously known as Child Youth and Family Services), as well as working with adults and families affected by substance use.
Anisha strives to provide psychological support by creating a non-judgmental space for her clients to develop an honest and trusting client-therapist relationship so clients can safely talk about their difficulties.
Anisha uses a range of well-researched perspectives in providing psychological and emotional support. Throughout therapy a collaborative approach is used to create and review what the client is looking to achieve through therapy.
